FUMC Coppell is experiencing a Resurrection Story. Two of them, in fact.

The church’s leadership engaged Arc in fall 2017 seeking strategies to realize the church’s mission and vision. Four months in, we guided the church through a generosity campaign, We Are Here, which resulted in a year-over-year increase of $130,000 in pledged giving—growth of 13.4%! Today, the congregation is growing deeper in their faith by developing a culture of storytelling, developing a North Star–oriented communications strategy, and embracing the tenets of being a Kinetic Church.

Custer Road UMC

When Custer Road UMC voiced a desire for a guide in finding a dynamic and experienced Worship Leader/Music Director for a new worship expression, Oak agreed to help and encouraged the church to go several steps further into the work of discerning identity, building sustainable systems, and rethinking planning and execution within the worship context. What started as a job search blossomed into opportunities to guide Custer Road as they seek to be a Kinetic Church by creating a thoughtful, genuine worship expression which aligns with the church’s values and meets the community’s shifting needs.

University Park UMC

University Park United Methodist Church embarked on a $12M facilities expansion more than 10 years ago, yet still felt burdened by $2.5M in debt and deferred maintenance. Working with UPUMC’s stewardship counsel, Arc developed a campaign which outperformed their counsel’s most optimistic fundraising projections, raising $3.1M…and counting. Rather than focusing on debt retirement, UPUMC is re-evaluating its call to share God’s love with everyone in its mission field through ambitious, innovative, and paid-for ministry.
